Organization

MaxNetAging is managed by the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research. Since 2007, Prof. James W. Vaupel is the Director of the network. He is supported by Jutta Gampe, Deputy Director for Research and by Beatrice Michaelis, Deputy Director for Scientific Management and Coordination.

The steering committee is responsible for the development of the curriculum of the MaxNetAging Research School, the recruitment and support of doctoral and postdoctoral students, the conceptualization and organization of graduate workshops and international conferences, and for administrative matters of the program.
